PEMA completes MART-assigned Human Service Transportation trips so members and programs can count on consistent pickup windows for doctor visits, specialty care, dialysis, and daily program drop-offs.

Ride Monitors

When monitoring is needed on a contracted trip, PEMA assigns a dedicated monitor who stays with the rider from door pickup through arrival — calm, consistent support for sensory needs and day-program handoffs.

Car Seats On Board

No curb-side scramble. If the assigned trip requires a seat, PEMA brings one installed and ready before pickup.

Door-to-Program Care

Sedans for contracted trips

PEMA drivers complete contracted trips in personal vehicles and sedans. These vehicles are dedicated to our MassHealth and Human Service Transportation work — we do not mix open public rides on the same fleet because of contract and insurance requirements.

Facility & MART Partners

PEMA is a contracted vendor for MART (Montachusett Regional Transit Authority) Human Service Transportation at mrta.us. We deliver broker-assigned MassHealth and agency trips and coordinate with facilities on program routes within that contracted work.

Approved through MART

New MassHealth (PT-1) and other HST trips are scheduled through MART member services after approval — not as open public bookings on this site.

PEMA is assigned

When MART assigns the trip to PEMA, we confirm the schedule, vehicle, and any monitor or car-seat requirements.

Door pickup with care

Your driver — and a dedicated monitor when assigned — arrives on time at the door.

Escorted drop-off

Riders are walked into the appointment or day program, then returns are coordinated when ready.
