Services

Full-service NEMT rides to appointments and day programs.

PEMA pairs the right vehicle with the right support — including monitors, door-to-program escort, and car seats — so every rider arrives safely across Worcester County.

01

Appointments & Day Programs

Scheduled rides to medical appointments, therapy, dialysis, and adult day programs.

PEMA takes riders where care happens — from doctor and specialist visits to daily day-program drop-offs and pickups. Recurring routes are coordinated so families and facilities can count on consistent windows.

  • Medical & specialty appointments
  • Adult day program transportation
  • Recurring schedule support

02

Ride Monitors

Trained monitors accompany riders who need supervision and support during the trip.

When a rider needs monitoring on the road, PEMA provides a monitor for the ride. Monitors stay attentive throughout transport and help make sure the rider is supported from pickup through arrival.

  • In-ride supervision & support
  • Assigned when monitoring is needed
  • Clear handoff at pickup and drop-off

03

Door-to-Program Care

Monitors pick riders up at the door and escort them all the way into the program or appointment.

PEMA does not leave riders at the curb. Monitors assure pickup from the door at home and walk riders in at drop-off — so families and day programs know the handoff was completed safely.

  • Door pickup at home
  • Escorted drop-off into the program
  • Peace of mind for families & staff

04

Car Seat Service

  • Mention car-seat needs when booking

  • Escort accompaniment welcome
  • Same-day requests when capacity allows

06
